When you type TELUS APN settings, make sure you enter APN settings in correct case. For example, in TELUS Internet and MMS APN settings make sure you enter APN as sp.telus.com and not as SP.TELUS.COM or Sp.telus.com.

For everyone else looking for the APN settings for mobile internet rather than just phones, the APN is ISP.telus.com NOT SP.telus.com. I had only sp and I racked up almost $100 usage in less than 10 minutes. Be careful!
